After “Paris Romantique (1815-1858)” and “Paris 1900, la Ville spectacle”, the Petit Palais devotes the final part of its trilogy to “Le Paris de la modernité (1905-1925)”. From November 14, 2023 to April 14, 2024, “Le Paris de la modernité” presents nearly 400 works by Robert Delaunay, Sonia Delaunay, Marcel Duchamp, Marie Laurencin, Fernand Léger, Amedeo Modigliani, Chana Orloff, Pablo Picasso and many others. The exhibition also features outfits by Paul Poiret and Jeanne Lanvin, jewelry by Cartier, a plane from the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace at Le Bourget and even a car on loan from the Musée National de l’Automobile in Mulhouse! Through a number of fascinating artistic fields, the exhibition brings to life the wild creativity of the years 1905-1925.
