Osaka according to Louis Vuitton: the most stylish City Guide of 2025

Osaka has never been a better place to travel. For the first time, Louis Vuitton dedicates its City Guide to this vibrant Japanese metropolis, on the occasion of theWorld Expo 2025. A travel diary that combines style, culture, gastronomy and a committed artistic eye.

A sensory immersion in the city of Kansai

For over twenty years, Louis Vuitton has been exploring the world’s capitals through its City Guide collection. In 2025, it’sOsaka ‘s turn to be the subject of this sensitive reading. More than 200 hand-picked addresses – from hidden temples and neighborhood restaurants to exceptional hotels and underground galleries – are revealed.

But this guide goes further: it offers a transversal, curated, artistic vision of the city. Illustrator Beya Panicha‘s drawings, Kenta Nakamura ‘s portraits and the work of young artist Verdy breathe a profoundly contemporary local energy.

The City Guide becomes a cultural manifesto

Far from being a mere inventory, this edition is a dialogue with Osaka’s art and personal history. Renowned architect Tadao Ando shares his favorite addresses, while Verdy, a child of the Suminoe district, expresses his visual heritage of manga, street culture and urban memory. A way of anchoring the guide in experience, not just scenery.

Fashion Eye, Osaka: Louis Vuitton’s other look

At the same time, the company unveils Fashion Eye, Osaka, a photographic work by Jean-Vincent Simonet. Far from tourist clichés, his chemically manipulated images plunge us into an almost hallucinatory vision of the city. A psychedelic stroll between Blade Runner and digital travel journal, between saturated shots and industrial textures.
