Revelations: the sensory banquet of world craftsmanship in Paris
What if the art object once again became a narrative? From May 22 to 25, 2025, the Révélations biennial takes over the Grand Palais Éphémère for its 7ᵉ edition, with an immersive scenography conceived as a banquet of materials and gestures. A suspended moment at the heart of contemporary luxury and international savoir-faire.
550 craftsmen, the same high standards of craftsmanship
Organized by Ateliers d’Art de France, the event brings together 550 exhibitors from 35 countries: creators, designers, manufacturers, galleries and foundations. Each contributes his or her stone – or thread, glass or feather – to the sensitive edifice that is arts and crafts.
This year’s flagship exhibition, Le Banquet, featuresItaly, along with Quebec and South Korea. Emerging scenes from Brazil, Bangladesh, Greece and an Ibero-American collective(Mexico, Colombia, Peru) enrich this poetic geography of know-how.
Between experimentation and tradition: France at the forefront
The French scene is not content to defend its heritage. It’s reinventing it. Like Julien Vermeulen, whose feather frescoes evoke vibrant landscapes, or Pierre Renart, sculptor of freely curving furniture, the new generation combines ecology, design and excellence.
France thus confirms its central position in luxury craftsmanship: a laboratory of forms and materials where marquetry, featherwork, upholstery and responsible innovation meet.
Objects-world, objects-memory
More than an exhibition, Révélations 2025 is a reflection on the meaning of luxury today. Each piece becomes a medium, a link between place, history, gesture and transmission. In a world saturated with images and rapid production, these objects slow down time.
