Taste of Paris 2025: when gastronomy becomes pop and ephemeral
From May 8 to 11, the Grand Palais Éphémère transforms itself into a gourmet temple with the Taste of Paris event, featuring top chefs, original creations and affordable tastings.
It’s one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year for Parisian gastronomes. Taste of Paris returns from May 8 to 11, 2025 for a new edition dedicated to accessible culinary creation, the art of living and celebration. In the spectacular setting of the Grand Palais Éphémère, this festival transforms the plate into an ephemeral work of art.
Star chefs at the rendezvous
The rumor mill is churning: Jean-François Piège could be the guest of honor at the 2025 event. After Pierre Gagnaire last year, who celebrated his 50th anniversary with a culinary performance, expectations are running high. He will be joined by a constellation of announced talents: Stéphanie Le Quellec, Niko Romito, Pierre Sang Boyer, Christophe Raoux and Philippe Conticini.
All will be offering exclusive creations in tasting format, available from 8 to 12 euros. A unique opportunity to taste Michelin-starred cuisine without the ceremony or the hefty bill.
Democratizing haute cuisine
The principle of Taste of Paris remains unchanged: to open up haute gastronomy to all, in a convivial and festive atmosphere. Jeffrey Cagnes, star pastry chef, will unveil his vanilla flan, a revisited Paris-Brest, and other sweets both generous and technical. On the savory side, Gabriele Ravasio, chef at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant at Le Trianon, will propose duck confit ravioli with truffles, a dish based on Breton lobster, and a surprising variation on morel mushrooms, green apple and vegetable charcoal.
An ever more creative event
The 2024 edition had already marked a turning point: plant-based cuisine in the spotlight with Manon Fleury and Alessandra Montagne, and an arty mixology that transformed the festival into an open-air bar. In 2025, the emphasis remains on bistronomy, signature cocktails and a total sensory experience.
Taste of Paris 2025 is culinary art at your fingertips, a festival where taste meets daring – and where the greatest names in gastronomy can be tasted without an appointment.
