Chanel, Angèle and the new perfume that will have Paris talking…

A palace of mirrors, a funfair atmosphere and a Belgian pop icon: Chanel and Angèle sign a campaign as unexpected as it is calibrated. A colorful launch for Chance Eau Splendide.

Chanel x Angèle: a meeting under the sign of the mirror

After Audrey Tautou and the mythical Night Train, Jean-Pierre Jeunet returns to Chanel for a new advertising film. Fifteen years later, it’s Angèle who takes over, playing Chance Eau Splendide, the latest addition to an emblematic range.

The visual universe remains faithful to the playful pop DNA of the previous campaign: bright colors, amusement park settings and a frenetic pace plunge the viewer into a sugary whirlwind. At the heart of an ice palace, the Belgian singer embodies a game of reflections, doubles and temptations. In a subtle wink, the heroines of the 2024 spot make a brief appearance at the end of the video, creating a continuity effect that will delight fans.

An original song for an original fragrance

But Chanel didn’t stop there: to accompany the campaign, Angèle composed an exclusive track entitled A Little More. A sparkling, sweet minute, conceived as an olfactory echo of the perfume. The track is already available in a special playlist on listening platforms – a fine example of immersive storytelling that combines image, sound and fragrance.

Chance Eau Splendide: Chanel’s fruity-floral surprise

Created by in-house nose Olivier Polge, Chance Eau Splendide stands out as a gentle break with the range. It combines raspberry, rose and violet with a heart of rose geranium, enhanced by iris, cedar and white musk. An audaciously fruity composition for a house better known for its powdery florals.

It’s the first time a human ambassador has embodied this line, which was launched in the 90s. A strategic shift that could reawaken the interest of a younger public, adept at pop campaigns and musical faces.
