Sunday Roast at Lancaster, the address that warms up Sundays

What if Sunday became the warmest day of the week? That’s the challenge facing the Lancaster with its new Sunday Roast.

An English tradition… sublimated Parisian-style

Since April 6, 2025,Hôtel Lancaster, an iconic address in the 8ᵉ arrondissement, has been offering a refined Sunday Roast in a hushed atmosphere, just a stone’s throw from the Champs-Élysées. Far from the classic brunch, this Sunday ritual revisits British tradition with a touch of French gastronomy.

Every week, Chef Sébastien Giroud showcases generous dishes prepared on the Traeger barbecue, for smoky, perfectly controlled cooking. The result? An explosion of flavors, between authenticity and culinary precision.

A menu that follows the seasons (and your desires)

Every two months, the menu changes with the seasons:

  • April-May: Lamb shoulder confit, asparagus, garlic confit.
  • June-July: Grilled prawns, vegetable bayaldi.
  • September-October: Pork loin, roast eggplant.
  • November-December: Mont d’Or or smoked Camembert, Morteau sausage.

Each meal ends with a seasonal fruit tart, imagined by Pastry Chef Alban Monroux.

The setting of a discreet, refined Parisian hotel

Located at 7 rue de Berri, in a building imbued with 1900s charm and subtly modernized by Studio Jean-Philippe Nuel, the Lancaster offers an elegant décor, combining antique furniture and contemporary design. It’s not just a meal: it’s an experience in Parisian hospitality.
