Florescence: Étienne Francey’s exhibition at Fisheye Gallery

Fisheye Gallery opens its doors to the poetic universe of Étienne Francey, a Swiss photographer whose work explores the boundary between reality and imagination.

From March 6 to April 5, 2025, its “Florescence” exhibition invites visitors to a sensory immersion in a vibrant nature in perpetual metamorphosis.

A journey to the heart of nature in motion

The title “Florescence” echoes a world in constant evolution, where blossoming becomes a visual language. Inspired byImpressionism, and in particular Claude Monet’s Water Lilies, Étienne Francey transforms nature into a living tableau. Using a subtle interplay of mirrors, leaves and objects placed in front of his lens, he manipulates perception to create dreamlike compositions in which light and matter interact harmoniously.

A unique sensory experience

More than a simple representation of plants, Florescence is an immersive experience that awakens the senses. Each photograph seems to vibrate before our eyes, plunging us into a universe where time stands still. Somewhere between abstraction and hyperrealism, Étienne Francey encourages us to experience nature differently, through its textures, reflections and play of light.
