Miu Miu achieves record growth in 2024

The Miu Miu brand, a subsidiary of the Prada group, is enjoying a meteoric rise, with +93% growth in one year. A success that strengthens the group’s position in the luxury market.

The brand, often referred to as Prada’s “little sister”, confirms its take-off with sales reaching 1.37 billion euros in 2024. This exceptional performance far exceeds the growth of the Prada group (+4.2%), whose sales amounted to almost 4 billion euros over the same period.

Sustained global expansion

The brand’s success can be attributed to a diversified offering and a move upmarket, which has enabled it to broaden its audience. Andrea Guerra, Managing Director of the Prada Group, emphasizes that this dynamic has enabled Miu Miu to achieve “a whole new level of visibility and scale”.

The Group recorded double-digit growth for the fourth year running, with strong performances in Asia-Pacific (+13%), Europe (+18%), and impressive advances in Japan (+46% ) and the Middle East (+36%).

What strategy for the future?

While the brand is enjoying spectacular growth, Prada intends to capitalize on this success. Andrea Guerra stresses the group’s determination to “consolidate the positioning of its brands and enrich its product portfolio”. The objective is clear: to strengthen customer commitment and increase market share.

This announcement comes at a time when rumours are swirling about the integration of the Maison Versace into the Prada group. An acquisition that could reshape the luxury goods landscape and further strengthen the position of the Italian group.
