Milan Fashion Week: what should we remember?

Milan Fashion Week once again unveiled bold collections and trends that will mark the upcoming Autumn-Winter 2025-2026 season. Here’s a look back at the key shows and the major fashion trends.

Must-see shows: Fendi, Gucci and Prada lead the way

After an intense week of presentations and shows, Tagwalk has identified the most striking collections of this edition. Fendi was the clear favorite, with an anniversary show by Silvia Venturini Fendi that captivated 8.64% of Internet users. Behind them, Gucci, under the direction of its creative studio, won over 6.27% of viewers, followed by Prada, where Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons explored new facets of the feminine.

Among the most striking silhouettes: a structured floral dress by Prada, a wise polo paired with an embroidered skirt by Gucci, and a sumptuous pleated leather coat by Fendi, worn by Adriana Lima.

The controversial return of fur

One of the most striking elements of Milan Fashion Week was the comeback of fur. According to Tagwalk, its use exploded by +996% compared to previous seasons. Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo and Prada reinterpreted the material, adopting more responsible alternatives such as shearling and faux fur.

Structured silhouettes and soft colors

Designers also banked on the return of belted waists and midi lengths, up +191% and +93% respectively. Max Mara, Ferragamo and Alberta Ferretti widely adopted this elegant, feminine aesthetic.

As for colors, pale pink made a remarkable breakthrough, notably at Jil Sander and Fendi, with a +6% increase in its presence on the catwalks.
