Nigo and Pharrell Williams: Not A Hotel’s new creative advisors

Fashion and music icons Nigo and Pharrell Williams take on the hotel business, joining Not A Hotel as creative advisors and investors.
After a year marked by their collaboration for Louis Vuitton, Nigo and Pharrell Williams continue their ascent in the world of design and lifestyle. They have just been appointed creative advisors to Not A Hotel (NAH), a Japanese company specializing in the design of high-end fractional ownership vacation homes.
An influential duo at the service of design and hospitality
It’s no surprise that Nigo, artistic director of Kenzo, and Pharrell Williams, artistic director of Louis Vuitton Homme, have teamed up with Not A Hotel. The two creative minds have already worked together on a number of projects, notably in the luxury goods sector.
NAH, founded in 2020, offers properties designed by renowned architects, available for purchase as condominiums. Nigo is already working with the brand on a cliffside villa in Tokyo, offering breathtaking views of Mount Fuji. Pharrell Williams, meanwhile, has contributed to the brand’s launch via his Joopiter platform, by auctioning an exclusive experience.
Not A Hotel, a project combining design and Japanese hospitality
By joining Not A Hotel, the two creators intend to merge their artistic influences and bring their signatures to the world of hospitality. Pharrell Williams says he’s “looking forward to reuniting with his brother Nigo in this new adventure”, while NAH’s CEO sees the collaboration as an opportunity to “take Japanese hospitality culture to the next level”.
Since its creation, NAH has signed contracts worth 38 billion yen with 748 owners, and currently has four sites in operation and another four under construction.
