Emma Stone, her surreal Louis Vuitton dress

At Saturday Night Live‘s 50th anniversary celebration, Emma Stone stole the show in a spectacular Louis Vuitton gown, complete with pockets overflowing with popcorn. An outfit as playful as it was daring.
An outfit made for the event
On February 16, Emma Stone appeared on the red carpet at the anniversary party of the famous American TV show, wearing a bespoke red dress with exaggerated pockets lined with popcorn. Not stopping there, the actress took her sense of humor to the extreme, swapping her handbag for a popcorn cone, pecking out a few kernels as the evening progressed.
Created especially for her by Louis Vuitton, this unique piece takes a surreal, playful approach to fashion. A few popcorn kernels even scattered across the floor, prompting comedian Amy Schumer to intervene with a broom and shovel, adding a comic touch to the scene.
Emma Stone, her long-standing collaboration with Louis Vuitton
Emma Stone, who has been the brand’s ambassador for several years, completed her look with matching satin sandals and diamond-set jewelry from the Ombre Blossom and Le Damier collections in white and yellow gold. Her special bond with Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s artistic director, dates back to 2012, long before he took over the reins of the brand.
With this iconic dress, Louis Vuitton and Emma Stone reinvent fashion with a touch of self-mockery, proving that glamour can also be playful and unexpected.
