To celebrate Valentine’s Day 2025, two exceptional experiences are on offer for lovers in search of a unique moment. Between a romantic night at the Tour d’Argent and a star-studded dinner at the Waldorf Astoria Versailles – Trianon Palace, elegance and refinement will be the order of the day.
A romantic night at the Tour d’Argent
La Tour d’Argent is offering an exclusive experience throughout February 2025. Entitled Nuit romantique à la Tour, this offer allows couples to stay in the establishment’s Appartement d’hôtes. An intimate, prestigious setting steeped in history. On arrival, a DS 9 sedan transfers guests from the Paris airport or train station. A bottle of Tour d’Argent Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs champagne is then offered to guests.
The evening begins with the creation of a bespoke cocktail or mocktail by a mixologist at the Bar des Maillets d’Argent. Then comes the long-awaited moment: an exclusive five-course dinner, created especially for Valentine’s Day and served in the gourmet restaurant. To prolong the magic, a glass of champagne is enjoyed on the roof of the Tower. The view over Paris is breathtaking.
Wake up to a refined breakfast served in the Bar des Maillets d’Argent. Lovers will also receive a gift box as a souvenir of this unique getaway. For couples wishing to mark the occasion, it’s even possible to organize a marriage proposal on the restaurant’s rooftop.
A Michelin-starred dinner with Gordon Ramsay at the Trianon
Another equally prestigious option is a romantic dinner at the gourmet restaurant Gordon Ramsay au Trianon, located at the Waldorf Astoria Versailles – Trianon Palace. Nestled on the edge of the Château de Versailles park, this Michelin-starred establishment offers a royal setting. The evening’s theme is excellence.
In the kitchen, chef Gabriele Ravasio sublimates exceptional products with a menu specially designed for Valentine’s Day. Among the dishes on offer, the Gillardeau oyster with Osciètre caviar, pomegranate and celery opens the ball. Potato and pear ravioli are enhanced by Melanosporum truffles. Salers cheese, while skate wing is accompanied by crosne, fennel and a karashi sauce.
For the main course, goose breast is revisited with touches of carrot, salsify, clementine and an Albufera sauce. The meal ends on a high note with a fresh goat’s cheese flower with chestnut coulis and liquorice, before a herb sorbet with crystallized opaline and a tangy fruit cloud.
The menu is priced at 320 euros per person, with a wine and food pairing option available at 190 euros.
