La Vaisselle des Chefs: a unique sale of palace tableware
Gastronomy and tableware enthusiasts, get ready! This weekend, the exceptional La Vaisselle des Chefs sale comes to Paris, offering the chance to acquire plates, cutlery and glassware from the capital’s top palaces and Michelin-starred restaurants.
A unique opportunity for lovers of culinary elegance
What happens to the cutlery and plates of prestigious establishments when they renew their crockery? Rather than throwing them away, La Vaisselle des Chefs gives them a second life. For the past 15 years, this event has enabled the general public to acquire tableware used in some of France’s finest gastronomic establishments. After Lyon and Bordeaux, it’s now Paris’ turn to host the first edition of this highly sought-after sale.
The event will be held this Saturday, February 8 and Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Césure, in the 5ᵉ arrondissement of Paris. With 10,000 pieces available from €10, this sale attracts both lovers of fine tableware and collectors in search of gastronomic treasures.
Pieces from the finest palaces and Michelin-starred restaurants
Visitors will be able to take away pieces from prestigious establishments such as Le Meurice, Cheval Blanc, Plaza Athénée, Marsan, Hélène Darroze and Anne-Sophie Pic.
Even iconic Parisian brasseries such as Les Deux Magots will be taking part, offering bistro-style tables and chairs. For pastry fans, Ladurée will be selling Limoges porcelain pieces by Bernardeau.
A socially responsible event
Beyond the opportunity to acquire exceptional tableware, La Vaisselle des Chefs is committed to eco-responsibility and solidarity. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Apprentis d’Auteuil association. In addition, unsold items will be donated to Emmaüs and the Apprentis d’Auteuil.
