Perrier-Jouët and Atelier Montex: a collaboration for the prestige of Champagne
Perrier-Jouët unveils the Edition Volutes, an exceptional packaging designed by Atelier Montex (Chanel), sublimating its rare cuvées with unique expertise.
A marriage of art, fashion and champagne
Against a backdrop of a 9% drop in champagne exports by 2023, ultra-luxurious creations continue to attract prestige connoisseurs. With this in mind, Perrier-Jouët continues its partnership with Atelier Montex, a Parisian embroidery manufacturer that has been part of Chanel’s Métiers d’Art since 2011.
Following the success of theEdition Libellule at the end of 2023, the Champagne house presents a new exclusive piece, theEdition Volutes, limited to just ten pieces worldwide. This unique work embodies Perrier-Jouët’sArt Nouveau heritage and its attachment to nature.
An exceptional piece crafted in 200 hours
The Volutes Edition is distinguished by extremely meticulous craftsmanship. Structure in walnut wood and 24-carat gold-plated brass, designed by a cabinetmaker and jeweler. Silk organza trim, hand-embroidered by Atelier Montex. 8,000 pearls and sequins, combined with crystal-set stones, create a refined floral design.
Each piece required nearly 200 hours of work, a testament to the workshop’s exceptional expertise.
Rare vintages for an exceptional bottle
This creation sublimates jeroboams from the Belle Époque cuvée, with three emblematic vintages: 1999, 2008 and 2012. Séverine Frerson, head of Perrier-Jouët’s cellars, underlines the similarity between embroidery and the art of champagne: “Two crafts that require time and precision to create rare treasures.
A price to match the prestige
These limited editions, part of Perrier-Jouët’s Objets Extraordinaires collection, are available on request at a price of 100,000 euros each.
