Valentine’s Day: declare your love on Parisian billboards!
For Valentine’s Day, Paris is offering lovers a unique opportunity. You can post a declaration of love on the city’s illuminated signs – and it’s free!
An unforgettable Valentine’s Day in the capital of love
Every year, February 14th is synonymous with romance and special occasions. Whether it’s a candlelit dinner, a getaway to a charming hotel or the exchange of symbolic gifts, lovers have no shortage of ideas for celebrating their love. But this time, Paris City Hall has come up with an even more striking initiative. It allows everyone to post a message of love on the city’s billboards.
How can you take part in this declaration of urban love?
Until February 10 at noon, all you have to do is go to the official City of Paris website to submit your most beautiful declaration. You’ll need to compose a message of no more than 145 characters, a concise format that invites you to choose each word carefully. Once validated, the message can be displayed on the city’s many information panels. Participants will be informed by e-mail if their statement has been selected.
A free, poetic gesture for Valentine’s Day
This concept, as romantic as it is accessible, transforms Paris into a huge open-air love letter. Imagine your beloved discovering, by surprise, a declaration right in the heart of the city! A unique, poetic gesture that leaves an indelible mark on the urban landscape.
Paris, eternal capital of Romanticism
More than a simple gesture, this initiative brings a wave of tenderness and poetry to passers-by. As they stroll through the streets, Parisians and visitors alike will be able to read snatches of love that come to warm hearts in the middle of winter. Proof that Paris will always be the city of lovers!
