Beyoncé, haute couture western style at the Grammy Awards 2025
At the 2025 Grammy Awards, Beyoncé made history by winning Best Album and Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter. By becoming the first black woman to win a country Grammy in 50 years, she not only shattered a glass ceiling, but also redefined the genre’s codes.
A highlight of the evening came when Taylor Swift, also competing in the country category, presented her with her trophy on stage. In her speech, Beyoncé was keen to encourage artists to freely explore their creativity: “Distinctions between musical genres should not be a hindrance; they exist primarily to restrict our freedom as artists.”
Beyoncé’s haute couture western look by Schiaparelli
Always at the pinnacle of style, the diva once again caused a sensation with an outfit tailor-made for the event. Signed Schiaparelli, her embroidered gown featured a subtle bandana motif, reinvented with sequins and pearls in champagne and cream tones. Accessorized with matching opera gloves, the outfit was a perfect blend of Western aesthetic and Hollywood elegance.
Beyoncé may not have walked the red carpet this year, but her appearance on stage in this sumptuous creation was enough to impose a new fashion concept: rodeo haute couture. A style she will continue to explore on her Cowboy Carter tour, announced this weekend.
Between musical triumph and stylistic audacity, Beyoncé proves once again that she is a true legend, both on stage and in the world of fashion.
