Marine Serre and Repetto: they’re coming soon!

@marineserre

On January 20, 2024, Marine Serre and Repetto will unveil a capsule collection that revisits the French brand’s iconic ballerinas with a modern, committed twist.

For this collaboration, Marine Serre has redesigned two flagship models: the Camille, embellished with a heel and Moon print in denim, black, white and red, and the Lilouh, offered in red, black and silver, with the Moon motif embossed on the front. This line embodies a fusion between the timeless elegance of Repetto and the avant-garde audacity of Marine Serre.

The designer, who was awarded the 2017 LVMH prize, expressed her emotion at the project, recalling her childhood bond with Repetto, whose factory in Dordogne already amazed her. Faithful to her commitment to sustainable fashion, she ensured that production was carried out in France, in the brand’s historic workshops, using the traditional method of cousu-retourné.

A celebration of balletcore, Repetto’s DNA

This collection is part of the current balletcore trend, which celebrates the return of ballerinas to the catwalks of major fashion houses such as Prada, Acne Studios and Ferragamo. With this project, Marine Serre and Repetto reinvent a classic while capturing the contemporary spirit of fashion.
