Magdalena: a festive brasserie with a Belle Epoque feel

Brasserie Magdalena opened in winter 2024 on Place de la Madeleine, on the historic site of Café Pushkin. This new venue offers traditional French bourgeois cuisine. Under the direction of chef Sylvain Bouzard, some twenty cooks work their hearts out to delight you at the table.

A menu dedicated to French classics

The menu showcases emblematic dishes. You’ll find beef bourguignon and sole meunière. But also more sophisticated recipes like linguine with lobster and rack of lamb. Products are carefully selected from renowned producers such as Boucheries Nivernaises and Maison Reynaud for seafood. Throughout the day, an “on-the-go” offer is available, with timeless favourites such as roast chicken and truffle-flavoured coquillettes.

A warm, elegant setting

With its 550 m², Magdalena offers a décor inspired by the Belle Époque. Guests discover an interior featuring a white marble bar, period moldings and terracotta velvet banquettes. Upstairs, a private lounge seating 18 around a fireplace is dedicated to more intimate events.

A careful selection of wines and cocktails

The wine list features 60 references, from grands crus like Château Margaux to more confidential estates. As for cocktails, two signature creations stand out: “Le Parfum de Magdalena” with gin and champagne, and “16 Place de la Madeleine”, a combination of vodka, raspberry and basil.

In the evening, the atmosphere evolves with jazz and DJ sets to liven up the weekends.
