Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet: a very gourmet Christmas
Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann becomes the epicenter of gourmet delights for the festive season. With pop-ups, exclusive creations and festive products, get ready for an unforgettable festive immersion.
Cyril Lignac’s patisserie: a sweet stopover at Le Gourmet
Until March 20, 2025, lovers of sweet treats can discover an exceptional pop-up: Pâtisserie Cyril Lignac sets up shop on the first floor of Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet. Under the direction of Cyril Lignac and his pastry partner Benoit Couvrand, this ephemeral boutique promises tasty creations combining tradition and innovation.
Among our signature desserts, Équinoxe stands out for its light Bourbon vanilla cream and crispy speculoos praline. Other must-tries include Baba au rhum and Tarte Gianduja. A special mention goes to their revisited lemon tart: a square dessert, without meringue, sublimated by a fine white chocolate tuile.
The creativity doesn’t stop there. Artisan chocolates, marshmallow bears and hazelnut milk spreads are also on offer. And for those who prefer the comforts of home, an online ordering service enables these delights to be delivered to Paris, or the chocolates to anywhere in France.
Yule logs: unique creations for exceptional festivities
Every year, Galeries Lafayette’s Gourmet is transformed into a temple to the Yule log. The biggest names in French pastry, including Pierre Hermé, Yann Couvreur and Jean-Paul Hévin, unveil their exclusive creations. Here’s a selection to inspire you:
- L’éclair de Génie – Malmö Traîneau: an autumnal log with chestnut, clementine and crunchy praline.
- Pierre Hermé – Aurora: a pink enchantment combining bergamot, lemon and rose mascarpone.
- Jean-Paul Hévin – Un Petit Bijou: a tribute to Grand Cru chocolate from Peru, perfect for cocoa lovers.
- Dalloyau – Apara log: a gourmet combination of roasted apple, peanut and Tahitian vanilla.
These pastry chefs push back the limits of creativity to offer logs that combine aesthetics and an explosion of flavors. All these creations are available exclusively at Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet.
