“Attention, Fragile!” Sarah Andelman’s exhibition at Sotheby’s

From November 28 to December 20, 2024, Sarah Andelman, former founder of Colette, is organizing an exhibition entitled “Attention, Fragile!” at Salon Sotheby’s, 83 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.

A blend of art and culture

Sarah Andelman brings together a variety of worlds, combining contemporary art, fashion, design, gastronomy and streetwear. Among the artists featured are Katerina Jebb, PZ and Inès Mélia, with works arranged in a streamlined space. Luxury jewelry and handbags rub shoulders with creations by glassmakers such as Maison Balzac and Massimo Lunardon x Sam Baron. Wine and chocolate tastings are also on offer.

Focus on skateboard culture

The exhibition also features works related to skateboarding, a theme dear to Sarah Andelman’s heart. Swiss artist Andy Picci presents two conceptual creations, one of which explores the notion of human fragility. Alongside works by Raphaël Zarka, Jeremy Yamamura and Lucas Beaufort, this work brings skateboarding culture into an artistic dialogue.
