World soccer legend Lionel Messi continues to expand his empire off the pitch with the launch of his own fragrance line, “Messi Fragrances”.

At the age of 37, after a spell on the pitches of FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, then moving to the United States to play forInter Miami, the 2022 World Cup winner with Argentina is exploring a new sector: perfumery.

Messi had already diversified his activities by launching energy drinks, available since June 2024 under the Mas + brand, with flavors such as “Miami Punch” and “Berry Cola”. Now he’s venturing into the world of fragrances, with a project he’s been working on for several months.

The “Messi Fragrances” range was unveiled by the Argentine himself on his Instagram account. The slogan, “Messi. More than we see”, highlights his versatility as a footballer, father and “gentleman“. The campaign is briefly reminiscent of Chanel’s Bleu mixed with Rabanne’s Invictus. The fragrance, priced at €68.95, or €84.95 with box, reflects the player’s desire for elegance and personality.

This launch puts Lionel Messi in direct competition with Cristiano Ronaldo, who also owns a range of perfumes and a clothing brand. While their duels on the pitch are behind them, the face-off now continues in the business world.
