Courrèges invests in the Marais with its new boutique
Courrèges has inaugurated its new Parisian boutique in the heart of the Marais district. This new chapter opened during the last Men’s Fashion Week, marking a high point in the capital’s fashion calendar.
Nestled at number 27 rue des Francs-Bourgeois, this new 235-square-meter address reveals itself as a unique space that reflects both the heritage and the future of the brand under the creative direction of Nicolas Di Felice. Designed by Belgian architect Bernard Dubois, the store perfectly embodies Courrèges’ contemporary vision. He has captured the essence of the brand by integrating design elements that combine geometric rigor, futuristic spirit and shimmering materials.
The store is also structured aroundan elongated gallery. Rounded corners covered with mirrors amplify the feeling of space and light. This new Parisian address is strongly inspired by the Courrèges boutique in New York, opening in 2022 in Soho. Indeed, it features design elements such as a mirrored ceiling and sleek shelving. But aesthetics aside, the choice of the Marais district is not insignificant. This district echoes the diversity and richness of identities that Courrèges wishes to celebrate.
Courrèges strengthens its presence in Paris
With the opening of this fourth boutique in Paris, Courrèges continues to assert its presence in the capital. Already present on rue Vieille-du-Temple and rue François 1er, as well as in a space at Galeries Lafayette… The ready-to-wear house is taking further root in the Parisian landscape. But its expansion is not limited to France. In 2023, the brand inaugurated a boutique in Seoul in partnership with Korean distributor Shinsegae.
