Cartier opens the doors of its workshops during the Heritage Days

The Journées du Patrimoine are the perfect opportunity to discover the hidden treasures of Paris, and this year, for the 41st edition, the Cartier Jewellery Institute is joining the party.

The European Heritage Days take place on September 21 and 22. This annual event gives visitors the chance to discover European cities from a different angle. This year, for the 41st edition in Paris, the Institut Joaillerie Cartier joins the party. For the third year running, this prestigious institute, nestled in an 18th-century mansion in the heart of the capital, invites the public to discover its workshops and exceptional expertise.

Visitors will have the opportunity to plunge into the world of Cartier’s haute joaillerie. This year’s tour has been specially designed for the Heritage Days. It will highlight precious stones and their specificities. It offers total immersion in the fascinating world of gems. During this 1h30 tour, participants will also be able to meet the craftsmen who shape Cartier creations. Demonstrations of artisanal techniques and introductory workshops will be offered.

To take part in this unique experience, you need to reserve your place. The number of visitors is strictly limited. Access to the Cartier Jewellery Institute is free, but by reservation only. Nominative registration opens this Monday, September 2, 2024 at 9am on the official European Heritage Days website. Visits will take place on September 21 and 22, 2024, from 9:30 am to 5 pm, and are limited to time slots to ensure an optimal experience for each participant. The Journées du Patrimoine in Paris is a not-to-be-missed event that opens the doors of the greatest cultural institutions, monuments and luxury addresses.
