Eva Jospin at Versailles

From June 18 to September 29, discover artist Eva Jospin at theOrangerie du Château de Versailles. She exhibited her work Chambre de soie at the Eva Jospin – Versailles exhibition. This monumental embroidery creation covers more than 350 m² and is 107 metres long. It takes visitors on an immersive journey.

Inspired by the Salle aux Broderies in Rome’s Palazzo Colonna and Virginia Woolf’s novel A Room of One’s Own, Chambre de soie depicts large-scale landscapes. The work was produced by artisans from the Chanakya workshop and the Chanakya School of Craft in Mumbai, in close collaboration with Eva Jospin.

We Are Here at the Petit Palais

For the first time, the Petit Palais welcomes urban artists! Visitors are invited to follow a unique itinerary of never-before-seen works, culminating in a spectacular installation of over 200 pieces, displayed in one of the collection rooms. This exhibition, inspired by the famous Salons des Refusés and d’Automne, pays tribute to the artistic revolutions of the 19th and 20th centuries. The works presented, created by emblematic figures of Street art. They bear witness to the history and evolution of this artistic movement. The immersive scenography promises a captivating experience, immersing the public in the richness and diversity of street art .

Cheval en Majesté arrives at the Château de Versailles

While the equestrian events of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will take place at the Château de Versailles, this emblematic establishment is hosting a major exhibition dedicated to the horse and equestrian civilization in Europe from July 2 to November 3: Horse in Majesty. This must-see exhibition this summer is based on previously unpublished studies.

It explores the horse from a variety of angles: political, artistic, diplomatic, scientific and even imaginary. With over 300 works from public and private collections, most of them international, it offers a new, global perspective on the theme of the horse. The exhibition also highlights the richness of equestrian civilization in Europe, from the 16th to the 20th century.

Their dreamlike, sometimes critical wanderings invite you to reflect on our relationship with sobriety and today’s climate challenges.

This exhibition also raises crucial questions: Can we dream together of a more sober and harmonious world? Can sobriety strengthen our bond with nature and others? Can technical innovation promote social, political and ecological progress? Or what new paths should we take?

“Le monde comme il va” at the Bourse du Commerce

The “Le monde comme il va” exhibition, at the Bourse du Commerce from March 20, 2024 to September 2, 2024, presents an exclusive selection of works from the Pinault Collection, highlighting the vitality and diversity of contemporary art.

Bringing together renowned artists such as Maurizio Cattelan and Jeff Koons as well as emerging talents, the exhibition explores philosophical reflections and questions about our times . Inspired by a tale by Voltaire, it offers an ambivalent vision of a world in motion, while inviting visitors to introspect through an immersive installation by Kimsooja.

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Matisse and admire works that have marked the history of modern art. The Fondation Louis Vuitton hosts the exhibition “Matisse, L’Atelier Rouge” in collaboration with MoMA, New York, and SMK Copenhagen. This exhibition explores the genesis and history of Matisse’s iconic work, painted in 1911. “L’Atelier Rouge represents the artist’s studio, including paintings, sculptures and decorative objects.

For the first time, the works in the painting are brought together, enriched by previously unpublished archival documents. Olympism, a history of the world at the Palais de la Porte Dorée

The “Olympism, a world history” exhibition retraces over a century of social and political history through 33 Olympiads. From April 26 to September 8, 2024, discover the crises, struggles as well as exploits that have marked our era, on the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games .

This exhibition, the first of its kind in France, brings together no less than 130 years of images, archives and portraits of athletes with remarkable destinies. In addition, the chronological tour, from 1896 to 2024, takes you behind the scenes of the Games, with nearly 600 works, documents, films and photographs, offering a dialogue between historic events and emblematic sporting figures!

To mark the Cultural Olympiad, Parisian perfume house Guerlain is bringing together 16 artists in a unique exhibition entitled “ Or Norme “. The exhibition, curated by Benoît Baume and Jean-Luc Monterosso, runs from June 6 to September 12, 2024, at number 68 on the chic Champs-Élysées avenue in Paris. The exhibition features 16 artists exploring the dreamlike and symbolic possibilities of gold. They include photographer Carolle Bénitah and artistic director Cédric Matet. In 1912, Albert Kahn, a wealthy philanthropist, launched an ambitious project to create a “photographic inventory of the surface of the globe, occupied and developed by man, as it appeared at the beginning of the 20th century”. A lover of nature, Albert Kahn paid particular attention to the plant world and its gardens.
