Mathieu Lehanneur, designer and creator of the torch and cauldron for the Paris 2024 Games, will host this exceptional event. “As a French designer, it’s an honor to participate in such an important global event taking place in Paris. Organizing this celebration allows me to share my passions for art and the Olympic Games with visitors from all over the world,” he declares.
Artistic and Olympic immersion
The evening begins in the nave of the Musée d’Orsay. Where an art historian will offer guests an exclusive tour of the world’s largest collection of Impressionist art. The tour ends on the museum terrace. Metamorphosed into a secret garden with an unrivalled view of the Seine, guests will be able to enjoy the opening ceremony to the full.

Practical information
The experience will take place on July 26, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 1 a .m. on July 27, 2024. Reservations for this experience can be requested from June 13 at 3 p.m. via this link.
Those selected will be responsible for their own travel to and from Paris, as well as for their own accommodation. Instructions on how to access the Musée d’Orsay on the day of the opening ceremony will be provided to those selected to take part in this unique experience.
