Hôtel Victor Hugo reopens to the public, more sumptuous than ever

After several months of renovation and a major facelift, the Hôtel Victor Hugo has just reopened its doors to the public. More sumptuous than ever.

Nestled in a beautiful Art Deco building from the 1930s. The Victor Hugo hotel has been renovated by Jacques Blanc, a maestro in the field. For this project, the historic restaurateur enlisted the help ofArnaud Dupin, his right-hand man since 2008.

Under the leadership of this dynamic duo, thelegendary 16th arrondissementestablishment has been transformed into a jewel box of softness. With its distinctive art deco look. Offering the elegance, charm and refinement of a private Parisian residence. The hotel opens with a superb lobby featuring a black-and-white marble carpet.

The walls of the monochrome boudoir lounges are sheathed in emerald-green, celadon, Andrinople red and Givenchy pink velvet, with mirrored cladding. Subtly delineating spaces. Here, different styles combine brilliantly to give life to this unique place!

The cosy bar is also well worth a visit. Designed in a chic, subdued atmosphere for moments of pleasure and conviviality. Drinks are served under deep-blue velvet walls.

As for the 75 rooms, they have been designed by Laurent Maugoust as modern, comfortable little “cocoons”. Noble, timeless materials. In addition to the contemporary decor, we particularly like the beautiful leopard pattern carpetavailable in 3 shades of red, green and blue – so dear to Madeleine Castaing, one of the greatest decorators of the 20th century.

A superb showcase to discover, just a stone’s throw from the Champs-Élysées
