Ladurée and Paris 2024: a gourmet and Olympic collaboration
In just a few months, Paris will be at the center of world attention thanks to the Olympic and Paralympic Games. To mark the occasion, Ladurée is proud to announce its official partnership with Paris 2024. A collaboration celebrating shared values of creativity, high standards and sharing.
Ladurée, a symbol of French pastry excellence, will be showcasing its expertise through a collection of official licensed products. This initiative aims to offer visitors from all over the world a gourmet and festive experience, embodying Parisian elegance.
To mark this exceptional event, Ladurée is unveiling two new macaroon flavors, specially created by Executive Pastry Chef Julien Alvarez. These macaroons, enhanced with spices for an energy boost, are available in a limited edition:
- Macaron Mango-Cardamome Olympique: An explosion of exotic, spicy flavors to delight the taste buds of lovers of refined sweets.
- Macaron Citron-Gingembre Paralympique: A perfect balance between the acidity of lemon and the warmth of ginger. A refreshing and invigorating taste experience.
Olympic and Paralympic pastries
Two new pastry creations, in homage to the Games, make their appearance:
- Mango Cardamom “Olympic” tart: A sweet pastry filled with almond cream, Duja almond, mango cream, mango compote and green cardamom… All topped with the Paris 2024 logo!
- Paralympic” Lemon Ginger Tart: A similar base, containing a lemon and lime confit, topped with a lime ginger cream and pieces of lime, adorned with the Paris 2024 logo.
Ladurée is also offering two limited-edition macaroon cases to celebrate the Games:
- Écrin Vert and Or** : Ladurée’s emblematic green color combines with the gold motif of Paris 2024, containing 28 macaroons.
- Écrin Rose et Bleu** : The bright colors and mascots of Paris 2024 decorate this box of 12 macaroons. Perfect for gourmet collectors.
Gourmet innovations and collectors
The “Eugénie” pastry, launched in 2023, surprises with its marriage of textures. A gluten-free shortbread cookie, a melting center and a crunchy chocolate coating. For Paris 2024, this creation is adorned with the toile de Jouy stamped with the mascots. In a blue, white and pink decor.
A collector’s sleeve for the Ladurée cat’s tongue box features the Phrygians practicing skateboarding. These crunchy cookies, coated in dark or milk chocolate, are a regressive treat to be enjoyed at any time.
An Olympic candle with gourmet notes
The royal blue candle of Paris 2024, with its white wax and white wick, revisits the colors of France. Adorned with the Paralympic pastry mascot, these candles diffuse gourmand notes of marshmallow, orange blossom, rose and violet, creating a comforting and festive atmosphere.
