This Latino address is electrifying Montparnasse (and we know why)
Montparnasse didn’t see this Latin wave coming. Since January 14, Papalito has been shaking things up with its colorful, generous and resolutely cosmopolitan cuisine. Nestled within the Les Artistes hotel, this new address promises a unique sensory journey between Lima, Buenos Aires and Mexico City, without stopovers or jet lag.
A full-fledged chef, a sunny menu
At the helm is chef Saly Hafezicasin. Having worked in some of Paris’s finest establishments, including the Plaza Athénée, her cuisine is one of sharing, where the spicy flavours of Latin America combine with French gourmandise. All thought out with seasonality and quality in mind, for fresh, balanced and daring dishes.
Vidéo du jour
On the menu? Must-try tapas such as spicy guacamole, pimientos del padrón, mouth-watering croquetas (mushroom or pork), not to mention the revisited quesadillas. As for signature dishes, octopus with red chili sauce or grilled prawns set a new standard for Latin gastronomy in Paris.
An atmosphere that lives to the rhythm of the sun
At Papalito, every moment of the day is different. In the morning, a relaxed breakfast. At lunchtime, refined dining. In the evening, a festive and musical atmosphere, with sets that warm up the atmosphere.
The venue, designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel, blends Parisian charm with Latino dynamism. Comfortable banquettes, warm lighting and a colorful palette: everything is designed to create an immersive experience.
An enchanted interlude a stone’s throw from Edgar Quinet
More than just a restaurant, Papalito is a place where people come for cocktails or to dine with friends. A must-visit address in the 14th arrondissement for those seeking sincere, festive and elegant world cuisine.
