Jacquemus lands in Los Angeles

Jacquemus finally sets up store on the American West Coast with an event boutique that won’t go unnoticed. With its Provencal market and exclusive creations, the French brand is making a splash on Melrose Avenue.

A first Californian site with Mediterranean charm

Jacquemus has set up shop at 8804 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. Through a colorful Jacquemus Market, designer Simon Porte Jacquemus offers a sunny immersion in the brand’s Mediterranean DNA. A striped awning, bright yellow flowers and bananas form the ephemeral decor of this opening, recreating the joyful, natural atmosphere of a market in the south of France.

This initiative is not limited to aesthetic staging: a few lucky visitors will leave with a winning ticket, offering them exclusive pieces such as the “Rond Carré” clutch bag or the “La Bateau” shoes, the fruit of the recent collaboration with Timberland. Not forgetting a series of collector’s merchandising products, stamped Jacquemus Los Angeles.

A store designed for long-term success

Behind this highly visual launch, Jacquemus is also playing the anchoring card. The 370-square-meter boutique houses the company’s women’s and men’s ready-to-wear collections, as well as bags and lifestyle accessories.

In the near future, the boutique could also become a key distribution point for the brand’s future beauty projects. Since signing its strategic partnership with L’Oréal in February, Jacquemus has been preparing behind the scenes for the launch of its very first fragrance, a major step in its global development.

Jacquemus, a well-oiled international expansion plan

Since the inauguration of its flagship store on Avenue Montaigne at the end of 2022, Jacquemus has multiplied its strategic international locations: New York, London, Dubai and now Los Angeles. With the backing of a minority investor and a new, strengthened management team, the brand is clearly showing its ambitions: to conquer Asia after having seduced Europe, the United States and the Middle East.

The Californian opening is just one more step in the dazzling trajectory of a label that turns every project into a must-see event.
