Fendi issues a collector’s stamp for its 100th anniversary

A sunny yellow stamp bearing the mythical FF monogram: Fendi gives itself a heritage showcase… and a postal one. A powerful initiative, part historical tribute, part image strategy. .
A centenary celebrated in gold (and fur)
Founded in 1925, Fendi celebrates a century of history in 2025. To mark the occasion, the Italian Post Office has been issuing a collector’s stamp featuring the Fendi logo. It couldn’t be more symbolic: the visual features the iconic yellow and the FF monogram imagined by Karl Lagerfeld in 1965, when the designer was reinventing fur in a pop spirit.
The stamp is sold online and in partner post offices, accompanied by an exclusive boxed set including envelopes, cards and booklet. A philatelic rarity, but also a strategic coup at a time when Fendi is embarking on a new era with a newly appointed CEO, and a female artistic direction yet to be revealed.
Fendi, a tribute to Made in Italy (and to the soft power of luxury)
The initiative is part of an Italian philatelic series dedicated to “the excellence of the production system”. Supported by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, it has already highlighted Gucci and Marchesi 1824 (Prada).
This choice by La Poste establishes Fendi as an ambassador of Italian savoir-faire, just as Chanel, Balmain and Lancôme have done in France, also immortalized on stamps.
