Pierre Hermé launches an exceptional egg hunt in Paris
On April 16 and 17, Maison Pierre Hermé invites Parisians to a unique gourmet hunt based on a cult work of art.
A hunt like no other
For Easter 2025, Pierre Hermé is transforming Paris into a chocolate playground.
The famous house is organizing an egg hunt in the streets around its Infiniment Chocolat boutique on boulevard des Capucines. The aim? Reconstitute Pièce N°1 from the Be Different collection, born of a dialogue between Pierre Hermé and photographer Patrick Rougereau.
Nine eggs will be hidden. Each egg found will entitle the winner to a chocolate reward.
For the lucky ones, a golden egg will give them the chance to walk away with Pièce N°1, a unique edible sculpture.
Chocolate as a work of art
The centerpiece of this collection is inspired by contemporary art. Be Different is a spectacular work composed of 495 dark chocolate eggs, all lined up in perfect symmetry. At the heart of the picture is a single eye-catching crystal egg by Maison Daum.
This contrast between raw chocolate and dazzling crystal celebrates uniqueness and difference.
Pierre Hermé transforms a culinary symbol into an artistic statement. Pierre Hermé turns uniformity on its head, turning audacity into a message.
An exclusive collection
The Be Different collection comprises several pieces, all produced in limited editions.
They are available only in two locations: the Infiniment Chocolat boutique in Paris and the Hôtel Les Lumières in Versailles. Each creation combines pure Bélize chocolate and intense hazelnut praline. Some are embellished with gold leaf.
These gourmet sculptures are more than just delicious. They embody a philosophy: dare to create differently.
An invitation to play (and dream)
On April 16 and 17, the clues will be revealed in real time on Instagram(@pierrehermeofficial).
Participants will have to follow the trail to find the eggs hidden in emblematic locations in the Opéra district. The event invites participants to rediscover Paris while celebrating creativity, freedom and the pleasure of taste. A feast for the eyes. A game for the taste buds. A tribute to difference.
When Easter becomes manifest
With this artistic egg hunt, Pierre Hermé gives new meaning to tradition.
He combines art, games and chocolate in a rare and sensitive event. A not-to-be-missed event for all lovers of Paris, taste… and audacity.
