St. Laurent reopens: the most secret terrace on the Champs-Élysées is revealed

We thought we knew everything there was to know about the Champs-Élysées, but Laurent still keeps a few well-kept secrets. The most elegant? His confidential terrace has just reopened.
A hidden garden in the heart of the Golden Triangle
Discreet, hushed, unexpected… Laurent, located at 41 avenue Gabriel, reopens its doors for the summer season, unveiling an enchanting setting a stone’s throw from the Champs-Élysées. Under the direction of Laurent de Gourcuff (Paris Society) and the starred signature of Mathieu Pacaud, the place is back in all its glory.
Designed by Cordélia de Castellane, the terrace combines wrought-iron armchairs, powder-pink cushions and delicate hydrangeas, in a style inspired by the gardens of yesteryear. A floral scenography that contrasts with the surrounding urban bustle.
A sunny, refined menu
Mathieu Pacaud ‘s cuisine celebrates the good times: crispy langoustines, glazed pea velouté, green asparagus from Pertuis, or blue lobster salad. The dishes are light, precise and inspired, in a perfect dialogue between product and season.
Dessert is enjoyed like a show: a sweet cart full of surprises concludes each meal on a spectacular note. In the cellar, great Bordeaux wines, rare Burgundies and fine champagnes make up a selection that will appeal to connoisseurs and connoisseurs alike.
A double atmosphere, from day to night
At lunchtime, Laurent attracts a business clientele in search of elegant discretion. Everything is designed to ensure that meetings and lunches run smoothly and calmly.
But it’s when night falls that the place reveals its second face: subdued lighting, a friendly bar, subtle music. The garden slowly comes to life, and the terrace becomes a glamorous meeting place for confidences, flutes and laughter.
