A mysterious lantern egg lights up Easter at Royal Monceau

What if Easter became an artistic experience? At the Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, chocolate isn’t just something to eat: it’s something to contemplate.
L’Œuf-Lanterne: light as a common thread at Royal Monceau
After marking the festive season with its Marquise de Noël, the Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris reinvents the art of Easter indulgence. For Easter 2025, the hotel unveils a collection of chocolate creations inspired by its architectural heritage, in particular the iconic lanterns that have adorned its façade since 1928.
At the heart of this collection? L’Œuf-Lanterne, a masterpiece of Passionato 60% dark chocolate, delicately openworked like a stained-glass window. Beneath this jewel box of light: puffed Camargue black rice praline, intense chocolate mousse and double vanilla from Madagascar and Tahiti. A work of art to share with two or three, as refined as it is gourmet.
Limited edition sweets not to be missed
- La Marquise is reinvented as a chocolate bar with caramel praline: addictive, elegant, and as chic as ever(€28).
- The chocolate flan also becomes a signature piece. Traditional puff pastry, Alsatian hazelnut shortbread, smooth farmhouse milk cream and 70% Mekonga chocolate: a balance between pastry heritage and Parisian creativity(€25).
Each creation is available for Click & Collect from April 9 to 23, or to take away from the famous Bar Long, the vibrant heart of the hotel.
When luxury celebrates the imaginary
Built in 1928, the hotel blends the spirit of the Années Folles with Philippe Starck‘s signature design. It welcomes art lovers with its private cinema, gallery and Art Concierge. Just a stone’s throw from the Champs-Élysées, the Royal Monceau remains an address apart, where gastronomy and imagination meet.
