Prunier revisits Easter: luxury is crunchy

What if this year, the Easter egg was… an illusion? Prunier transforms caviar into chocolate, blurring the lines with jubilant refinement.

For Easter 2025, Maison Prunier dares to be irreverent with a limited-edition creation: Les Perles de Chocolat Prunier. Presented in the legendary caviar box, these small black spheres deceive the eye as much as the palate. They conceal a crunchy biscuity heart, coated in 55% Valrhona dark chocolate, in a sophisticated nod to the Prunier universe.

Caviar meets chocolate

The surprise doesn’t stop there. The French company, founded in 1921, also offers an exceptional boxed set combining chocolate and genuine Osciètre de Printemps caviar. Available in two formats (50 g or 125 g), this singular combination embodies the art of contrast: chocolatey sweetness against iodized finesse.

Caviar Osciètre de Printemps, also in limited edition, celebrates the first sunny days. When tasted, its shiny grains reveal notes of hazelnut, a melting texture and a long finish reminiscent of the sea. All in a box adorned with cherry blossoms, for a poetic, almost Japanese visual touch.

Prunier has held theProtected Geographical Indication (PGI ) for its Aquitaine caviar since February 2025, consolidating its reputation for excellence. Each pearl, produced in France, bears witness to ancestral know-how and a commitment to quality.

Available from March 31 for the chocolate, and March 24 for the caviar, these creations will be offered in the boutique at 15 place de la Madeleine or on prunier.com. Prices start at €8 for 30g of chocolate pearls, rising to €335.50 for the prestige box.

A word of advice? Don’t delay. These rare pieces are already snapped up by lovers of (truly) high-end surprises.
