Art Shopping at the Carrousel du Louvre: the art fair that Paris has been waiting for

With over 250 artists from all over the world, a redesigned format and a prestigious setting, Art Shopping transforms the Carrousel du Louvre into a veritable agora of contemporary creation.

An exceptional showcase for today’s art

From April 5 to 6, 2025, Paris will vibrate to the rhythm ofaccessible contemporary art thanks to Art Shopping, a fair that has become a landmark for curious amateurs and seasoned collectors alike. Nestled under the vaulted roof of the Carrousel du Louvre, this human-scale art event has established itself as an essential platform for discovering, exchanging and acquiring original works… at all prices.

Over 250 artists, 90 exhibitors, 30 nationalities at Art Shopping

Paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs, mixed media: this year’s show promises to be a rare treat. The public will be able to meet 250 artists from 30 countries, selected for their creativity, their technique and, above all, their singularity. Whether established artists, emerging talents, partner galleries or independent collectives, each will present his or her own universe, in a scenography conducive to dialogue.

The watchword? Accessibility. There’s no elitist jargon or intimidating walls here: the artists are present on site, available to explain their approach and forge a direct link with the public. A unique opportunity to ask questions, to better understand the works, and even… to take them away with you.

An exclusive vernissage to plunge into the world of Art Shopping

The show will open its doors on the evening of April 4, with a private vernissage reserved for guests and partners. This privileged moment will offer a preview of the works on display, with the added bonus of being able to discover the new artistic leasing formula, designed to enable everyone to offer an original piece in a flexible way.

A mythical place: the Carrousel du Louvre, between elegance and effervescence

Art Shopping’s appeal also lies in its prestigious setting. The Carrousel du Louvre, with its calm, light-filled galleries, provides a serene, refined atmosphere that contrasts with the sometimes stifling atmosphere of fairs. It’s a place to stroll, observe and discuss. Here, art rediscovers its sensitive, human dimension.

Ideally located in the heart of the 1st arrondissement, and easily accessible by lines 1 and 7 (Palais Royal – Musée du Louvre stop), the site makes for a pleasant visit, even for families or foreign visitors.

Stéphane De Boysson: an ambassador with a cross-disciplinary outlook

This 2025 edition is also marked by the presence of Stéphane De Boysson, the show’s ambassador. At the crossroads of cultures, this contemporary art enthusiast takes his eye from Dubai to Paris, via Asia and South America. For him, Art Shopping is above all a place of exchange, where artists meet their public without filters or barriers.

Art Shopping, art for everyone, really

Unlike some art fairs reserved for an initiated public, Art Shopping is committed to opening up contemporary creation to all. By offering free admission by invitation (downloadable from artshopping-expo.com), the fair makes art accessible to all budgets, without compromising on quality.

It’s also a show for “finding your art”, as its organizers put it. Here, works of art don’t seek to seduce a market; they tell a story, arouse an emotion, trigger a love affair.
