Hôtel de Crillon celebrates contemporary design at PAD Paris 2025

For the 27th edition of PAD Paris, from April 2 to 6, 2025 at the Jardin des Tuileries, the Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, is once again establishing itself as a key player on the Paris cultural scene.

As an official partner of this international design fair, the legendary Place de la Concorde establishment is spotlighting the singular world of French designer Victoria Wilmotte. An exclusive exhibition of the designer’s work will be on view in the lobby from April 2 to 9.

This collaboration is far from insignificant. Between Victoria Wilmotte and the Hôtel de Crillon, it’s a story of shared elegance and artistic loyalty. The designer, who trained between Paris and London, already made her mark on the address in 2017. During the major renovation orchestrated by Aline Asmar d’Amman, she signed furniture elements for the Marie-Antoinette Suite and the David Lucas hair salon. More recently, in December 2023, she designed an iconic Christmas log with pastry chef Matthieu Carlin.

The exhibition at the Crillon features marble lamps, vases and accessories, emblems of the Wilmotte style. What characterizes it? His signature mastery of volume, geometric rigor and mineral sensuality. Each piece celebrates a refined dialogue between functional design and contemporary sculpture, sublimated by exceptional craftsmanship.

This partnership is part of a broader vision for the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts group. This places art and culture at the heart of the hotel experience. Through this support for contemporary creation, the Hôtel de Crillon affirms its desire tooffer a platform for expression to the talents of tomorrow. At the same time, it honors the links between heritage and innovation.

Design enthusiasts will also find Victoria Wilmotte’s work at PAD Paris. On the stands of Jousse Entreprise and Galerie Victoria Poniatowski Design, two major players in contemporary furniture.

This meeting between Crillon and Victoria Wilmotte sketches out a new Parisian art de vivre. From now on,elegance is conjugated in the present tense.
