Crazy Horse releases its very first vinyl

Paris’s most famous cabaret puts its music in the spotlight. For the first time, Crazy Horse releases a vinyl album.

An iconic soundtrack on disc

The cabaret on 12 avenue George V is releasing a collector’s item: a vinyl collection of the iconic tracks from its Totally Crazy show. It includes such highlights as “You Turn Me On”, “Baby Buns” and “Vertiges”, penned by artist Sevdaliza. The music extends the show’s aesthetic: audacity, sensuality, mystery. The vinyl captures the spirit of Crazy, but for listening at home.

An original musical gesture for a cult venue

Founded in 1951, Crazy Horse had never before released their songs in physical form. This vinyl marks a historic first. It pays tribute to the venue’s sonic identity, often overshadowed by its spectacular visuals. And yet, each painting is based on a soundtrack conceived as a set. These pieces take on a new, more intimate and immersive dimension.

A vinyl that extends the show experience

The album offers a different relationship to the show. Close your eyes, and the Crazy Girls reappear, luminous silhouettes and lascivious rhythms in your memory. The vinyl becomes an extension of the show, a collectible souvenir. The item sells for €30 in the cabaret’s official boutique, in the heart of the 8th arrondissement. A retro format for a resolutely contemporary cabaret.

With this first vinyl, Crazy Horse confirms its ability to reinvent itself. It proves that its universe goes beyond the stage. And that it can be danced to, hummed to… or simply listened to, with a drink in hand and the lights dimmed.
