At the Atelier des Lumières, Le Petit Prince makes Paris shine

From April 11, 2025, a poetic, immersive odyssey awaits you in Paris. Let yourself be guided by a blonde star.

Immerse yourself in the world of a masterpiece

The Little Prince is back, but from a new angle. At the Atelier des Lumières, Saint-Exupéry’s words and drawings come to life. Visitors are plunged into a visual and aural narrative, in the heart of the desert, the stars and the planet B612. The exhibition blends digital art, poetic narration and pure emotion. The blonde child, the rose, the fox and the snake come to life on the walls. The experience goes beyond the literary. It speaks directly to the heart.

A journey between dreams and philosophy

Each room explores a key chapter of the tale. The Little Prince’s arrival in the desert, his quest for friendship, his interstellar encounters. We find discreet humor, gentle sadness and great life lessons. “The essential is invisible to the eye” is written in light, like a mantra. The quotations float, vibrate and blend into the scenery. Together, young and old discover the power of a text that has become universal.

An artistic and technical feat

Stage direction was entrusted to Nicolas Charlin and his team. The Spectre Lab studio extended the original graphic universe without betraying it. Saint-Exupéry’s watercolors expand, animate and transform. Each sequence is accompanied by an enchanting soundtrack. Grieg, Morricone, Hendrix… An unexpected patchwork of sounds that reinforces the emotional intensity. It’s a complete work, conceived as a sensory spectacle.

A magical setting for a timeless tale

Located at 38 rue Saint-Maur, the Atelier des Lumières offers an ideal setting. A former foundry, this industrial site lends itself perfectly to immersive projections. Walls, floor, ceiling… everything becomes a screen. You don’t look at the exhibition, you walk through it. Visitors become actors in the tale. They wander between the stars, drawn sheep and absurd planets.

An exhibition for the whole family

The Little Prince is not just for children. It speaks to the childhood in all of us. L’Atelier also features a children’s area inspired by Douanier Rousseau. Projected drawings, colorful animals, interactive sounds… the youngest visitors become artists. This double experience combines discovery, play and emotion. A rare moment to experience together.
