L’Ourson de Pâques from Café de la Paix: a regressive sweetness
Once again this year, Café de la Paix melts hearts with its Easter Bear. Made from milk chocolate and Dulcey blond chocolate, he hides in his arms a golden egg in Caozelo 38% chocolate, containing small eggs filled with melting vanilla marshmallow. A creation as gourmand as it is emotional, available from April 7 to 20 (€75).
L’Éclosion at Mandarin Oriental: a tribute to spring
At the Mandarin Oriental, Chef Julien Dugourd has created a dish inspired by the palace’s lush garden. The“L’Éclosion” egg, with its refined design, is adorned with sculpted plant leaves. It contains a hazelnut praline and 70% chocolate, custom-created by the Chef. Its elegance and refined flavors make it a chocolate jewel, available from April 11 to 27 (€75). To prolong the experience, a Goûter de Pâques will be served at Le Camélia, accompanied by original pastries (€68 or €88 with champagne).
L’Œuf Signature de La Réserve: the chocolate religieuse
At La Réserve Paris, Chef Jordan Talbot reinterprets the religieuse in a bewitching chocolate version. His Signature Egg in Grand Cru chocolate from the Dominican Republic rests on a mendiant tablet garnished with candied Corsican clementines, caramelized almonds and candied ginger. A real bonbonnière, it conceals a selection of hazelnut truffles and buckwheat praline. Available in a limited edition (€85), it is accompanied by a Goûter de Pâques at Bar Le Gaspard, a three-part experience combining pastries and chocolate treats (€65 or €89 with champagne).
