Baronne, the hidden terrace all Paris will be talking about this spring
A discreet garden in the heart of the 8th arrondissement, refined dishes and a chic garden party atmosphere: Baronne unveils its terrace and weekend brunch.
Behind the gates of the sublime Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild…
…hides a secret that only a few insiders still share: Baronne, Laurent de Gourcuff ‘s Paris Society restaurant. If you thought you knew everything there was to know about Parisian terraces, this one may well shake up your certainties.
Here, summer starts before everyone else. Under unbleached parasols, Baronne reinvents itself under the open sky, with banquettes as long as a summer’s afternoon and a light that softens the end of the day. In the evening, lanterns and rustling trees create an almost unreal setting, somewhere between bucolic elegance and city air.
A card toasted by the fire of know-how
In the kitchen, French tradition is revisited without arrogance. The menu features exceptional meats, whole fish and grilled vegetables. The flavors are straightforward, the cooking precise, and the plate exudes mastery.
But this spring, Baronne goes on the taste bud offensive with a major new feature: a hearty and highly desirable Sunday brunch.
A royal (and regressive) brunch in the heart of Paris
Every Saturday and Sunday, from 12pm to 3pm, the terrace hosts a brunch featuring classics alongside in-house creations. Avocado toast, eggs Benedict or smoked salmon bagel for purists. But also pastrami grilled cheese, lobster Bénédicte, caviar rösti… A gourmet feast, accompanied by Mimosa, Bloody Mary, detox juice or champagne.
What about the kids? Taken care of by an animator, they enjoy creative workshops while the adults brunch (in peace).
An address to reserve before all Paris rushes in
🌿 A stone’s throw from the Champs-Élysées, but far from the noise, Baronne promises a green spring against all odds.
