British driver Lando Norris drove a spectacular race against Max Verstappen at the Australian Grand Prix 2025. As a reward, Norris received the prestigious Formula 1 Louis Vuitton trophy, presented in an emblematic trunk specially designed for the occasion. This partnership between the French fashion house and Formula 1, made official in January, marks a new stage in the fusion between luxury and motorsport.
A trophy case by Louis Vuitton
For this first Grand Prix of the season, Louis Vuitton unveiled a new version of its trophy case, designed to sublimate the steering wheel-shaped prize. On display throughout the weekend, this handcrafted piece accompanied the highlights of the competition, from the start to the podium.
Manufactured in the historicAsnières workshop, it features an original design: a green and gold checkerboard, a nod to Australian colors and the Formula 1 race finish flag. The interior, lined in smooth black leather, preciously protects the trophy, while the fine gold clasps and locks recall the company’s timeless savoir-faire.
A combination of prestige and performance
In addition to this iconic trunk, Louis Vuitton left its mark on the Grand Prix with a new logo and custom signage, reinforcing the image of excellence and speed shared with Formula 1.
