A Greek wind blows through the Mandarin Oriental Paris

From March 19 to 22, 2025, the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino takes up residence in Paris for a culinary immersion in Hellenic flavors. A gastronomic rendez-vous orchestrated by chef Bertrand Valegeas.

A menu in the colors of the Mediterranean

For four days, the Camélia restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Paris will host the refined cuisine of the Oliviera restaurant at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino in Greece. Under the direction of chef Bertrand Valegeas, this gastronomic event highlights traditional recipes revisited with elegance, where local products take center stage.

The culinary journey begins with a tasting of olive oils accompanied by toasted sourdough bread, crispy gressini and soft pita bread. Iconic starters such as tzatziki, taramosalata with cod roe and bottarga, sea bass carpaccio and zucchini fritters with lemon and fresh mint follow.

The main courses offer a rediscovery of Greek classics, with a reinterpreted moussaka and a lobster “Critharoto“, sublimated byorzo, that little traditional pastry. For dessert, the chef proposes Meli, a tribute to honey and pollen, accompanied by chamomile ice cream, orAkladi, a grilled pear served with espuma and basil sorbet.
