The Little Prince at the Atelier des Lumières

From April 11, 2025, the Atelier des Lumières unveils an immersive exhibition dedicated to The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s timeless masterpiece. Through a spectacular and poetic staging, this experience plunges young and old into the magical world of the tale, where the author’s watercolors come to life.

A visual and sensory odyssey

Conceived in collaboration with the Succession Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, this exhibition pushes the boundaries of narrative by giving an interactive dimension to the book’s famous illustrations. Visitors will travel through magical settings, from the desert to the cosmos, via the story’s emblematic planets.

The tour opens with a sandstorm, following the aviator before his encounter with the Little Prince. The walls and floors then come alive with quotations and dialogues from the tale, highlighting the major themes of the work: innocence, friendship, love and the quest for meaning.

A journey to the heart of the stars

The experience invites the public to follow the adventures of the Little Prince through a series of immersive tableaux. The encounter with the fox, where we rediscover the famous lesson on taming. The passage to the planets, inhabited by characters symbolizing the failings of adults. The Little Prince’s poignant farewell, an emotional moment under a starry sky.

The exhibition features art direction by Nicolas Charlin and an enchanting soundtrack, mixing classical and contemporary music to accompany this sensory journey.

A modern tribute to a universal tale

With over 300 million copies sold and translated into more than 600 languages, The Little Prince continues to amaze entire generations. Thanks to this immersive reinterpretation, Atelier des Lumières offers a new way of rediscovering this philosophical tale, between dream and contemplation.
