Dolce & Gabbana celebrates Sicilian cuisine with a new book
After conquering the world of fashion, Dolce & Gabbana has now entered the culinary world with the release of La Sicilia in cucina (Sicily in the kitchen). Published by Rizzoli, the book is a veritable immersion in Sicilian gastronomy, with 400 pages and 164 photographs.
Dolce & Gabbana’s tribute to Sicilian traditions
Introduced by journalist Fabrizia Lanza, this book highlights emblematic recipes from Domenico Dolce‘s native Sicily. It includes classics such as Pasta alla norma, Parmigiana di melanzane and Cannoli.
But La Sicilia in cucina isn’t just about recipes. It also celebrates the Mediterranean art of living, with visuals carefully crafted by Andreas Achmann, Charlie Richards and Robert Sanderson. The aesthetic universe of Dolce & Gabbana is omnipresent, notably through plates and dishes decorated with the brand’s emblematic motifs, such as Blu Mediterraneo and Carretto Siciliano.
A natural extension of luxury
With this book, Dolce & Gabbana continues its expansion into the world of high-end gastronomy. After launching a coffee in the brand’s colors, the Italian House has diversified into delicatessen products. Wines in partnership with DonnaFugata. Pasta and sauces with Pasta di Martino. Chocolates with Baci Perugina. And household appliances in collaboration with SMEG.
Dolce & Gabbana’s DNA is also reflected in the art of the table, confirming that luxury is not limited to clothes, but also extends to our kitchens.
📖 Sicilia in cucina is now available for Italian food lovers and culinary design enthusiasts.
