Marine Serre returns to Paris with a daring collection
On March 10, 2025, Marine Serre made her mark with an Autumn-Winter 2025-26 show at an iconic venue: La Monnaie de Paris. A blend of cinematic heritage and ecological commitment, the designer proved that upcycling can be as luxurious as it is elegant.
A new era for Marine Serre
After several international seasons, Marine Serre returns to Paris with 47 silhouettes unveiled in a setting inspired by Twin Peaks‘ Red Room. This enigmatic setting heralds a more mature collection, wherestructured aesthetics take center stage. The first silhouette sets the tone: a black catsuit with marked hips, a nod to the film Irma Vep, covered in the famous half-moon print.
Slim-fitting jackets, leather dresses and tailored suits create an assertive femininity, reminiscent of the Hollywood icons of the 50s and 80s. This season, the Marine Serre woman is venomous, sensual and daring.
An explosion of materials and creativity
While black dominates, Marine Serre dares to use color in intense carmine red, dazzling white and a striking tiger print. Blue denim asserts itself as a total look, while butter yellow illuminates chemise dresses and delicate lace.
Upcycling reaches new heights here: a sculptural dress made from watch straps, a coat in vintage furs, and a ringing dress in antique pieces illustrate the meticulous sourcing of materials and their transformation.
Lasting elegance, a successful gamble
The show also featured embroidered jewelry and accessories, including a beret adorned with antique medals. More than a comeback, the brand is blazing a new trail for sustainable fashion, proving thatupcycling can rhyme with refinement and innovation.
A collection that shakes up codes and confirms one thing: with Marine Serre, the impossible doesn’t exist.
