Les Grands Prix de la Création 2025: Paris in search of new talent
The City of Paris opens applications for the Grands Prix de la Création, a prestigious competition dedicated to fashion, design and craft professionals.
A call to innovative designers
Until May 21, 2025, emerging and established talents can submit their entries for the Grands Prix de la Création de Paris, a competition highlighting excellence and innovation in four distinct categories.
- Prix Révélation: awarded to three promising designers in the fashion, design and crafts sectors.
- Prix Engagement: recognizes responsible and innovative initiatives that respond to contemporary issues.
- Fashion Accessories Prize: dedicated to designers of belts, gloves, shoes and leather goods, in partnership with Au-delà du Cuir (ADC).
- Prix Accessoires Bijoux: open to both beginners and experienced professionals, with the support of Francéclat.
An opportunity for French designers
The winners of the 2024 edition bear witness to the dynamism of this competition. Among them, Philéo Landowski impressed with his innovative shoes, while Mossi Traoré was singled out for his social project combining haute couture and the transmission of know-how. Designer Lucille Thievre made her mark with her technical approach, and Kitesy Martin, who specializes in upcycled jewelry, won the jewelry accessories category.
A valuable endowment and visibility
The winners will receive a prize of 18,000 euros, financed in part by the City of Paris and private partners such as the Fédération Française du Prêt-à-Porter Féminin, ESMOD, Galeries Lafayette and Roger Pradier. In addition to this financial support, the winners will benefit from media exposure through influential events and institutions, such as the Palais Galliera, Première Classe and Paris Design Week.
