A joint project to protect the environment

Launched in response to the devastating California fires of January 2025, the California Picture Project has mobilized 162 artists, photographers, filmmakers and designers around a unique initiative. The sale of photo prints for $150. All proceeds will be donated to reconstruction funds. The collection runs until March 9, 2025. Among them are Sofia and Gia Coppola, Martin Parr, Jack Davison, Martine Syms, The Blaze and many others. They deliver never-before-seen images, capturing intimate moments, behind-the-scenes creations and iconic moments.

Gia Coppola, on the eve of the release of her film The Last Showgirl, shares a backstage shot of cabaret dancers, evoking the spectacular world of Pamela Anderson.

Her aunt, Sofia Coppola, offers for sale a cult image from her film Somewhere (2010): a suspended moment between Elle Fanning and Stephen Dorff, lying by the pool at the Château Marmont. Martin Parr captures a colorful yoga scene, while Martine Syms immortalizes a motivational tag: “Mama didn’t raise no quitters”.

Photographs by Rick Owens, Troye Sivan, Nadia Lee Cohen and John Yuyi complete this vibrant selection, making the California Picture Project an artistic event not to be missed.
