Acne Studios: Urban future meets wilderness

The Acne Studios Autumn-Winter 2025 show explores the delicate balance between the urban world and raw nature. Through modern, contrasting silhouettes, the Swedish brand questions the coexistence of these two worlds.

The event took place in a hybrid setting where futuristic sculptures and woven art evoked skyscrapers and Nordic landscapes. The setting, designed by Swedish duo Front, visually conveyed the duality that inspires Acne Studios creator Jonny Johansson. As he explains, “nature and urban cities have always had a relationship that fascinates me”. A statement reflected in a collection where contrasts are at the heart of the stylistic approach.

The garments offered a contemporary interpretation of the classic suit. Coats and tailored ensembles with rounded, dropped shoulders lent a relaxed allure. Fluid dresses, too, were part of this dynamic, as were colorful knit vests adorned with oversized bow ties.

The imprint of the 70s was also present, notably through fitted tops, wide-leg pants and heart-shaped belts. Colors and materials paid homage to glam rock and disco, while shoes confirmed the show’s avant-garde approach: open heels, moccasins transformed into boots, all set to the soundtrack of Björk‘s Human Behavior.
