Suelo, Spanish-style crazy chic
Nestled on rue Boccador, the Suelo address continues to attract a select clientele. With its innovative concept combining refined Spanish cuisine and exclusive evenings, this venue is on everyone’s lips for this Fashion Week, and has established itself as one of the most sought-after restaurants.

Behind, well hidden in the Marais
Hidden behind Andy Wahloo’s bar & 404 restaurant, DERRIÈRE occupies Mourad Mazouz’s former apartment, transformed into a warm and welcoming space where every room has been transformed into an arty reception area. From the living room to the bedroom, from the 70s New York loft-style dining room to the dressing room, the decor, designed by Mourad himself, makes you feel at home with an artist friend. Details abound: paintings, posters, table books here and there, nothing is left to chance. Right down to the toilet, where a bathtub doubles as a sink. Most surprising of all: the mysterious cupboard that hides a smoking room that looks like a cabinet of curiosities. Furiously chic… we love it! There’s no other restaurant quite like it.

Right next door, Au Petit Passage (8 rue de la Main d’Or) offers a similar experience, led by chef Dave Harrison. With its low prices(€17 lunchtime menu), brocante decor and warm atmosphere, this address remains a must for lovers of lively, sincere cuisine. Among our favorite restaurants.
