Monsieur Claude: Danny Khezzar’s suspended bistro
Top Chef finalist Danny Khezzar inaugurates a one-of-a-kind restaurant in Rueil-Malmaison. Perched 14 meters above the ground, “Monsieur Claude” promises an unparalleled culinary experience.
An unusual, participatory concept
Following the success of Bistrot Micheline, Bistrots Pas Parisiens is about to unveil a new address: Monsieur Claude. Located in Rueil-Malmaison, this suspended establishment offers exceptional panoramic views and a festive rooftop atmosphere.
The name of the restaurant was not chosen at random. Danny Khezzar launched a competition on Instagram, allowing Internet users to suggest ideas. The winner gets a table open for a year. “Monsieur Claude” pays tribute to the chef’s grandfather, who himself owned a restaurant in the city.
Bold and accessible cuisine by Danny Khezzar
With a menu priced at under 40 euros, Danny Khezzar aims to offer creative, accessible cuisine. Drawing on his experience at the Bayview in Geneva, where he won a Michelin star, the 28-year-old chef will showcase dishes that reflect his passion and talent.
The setting, meanwhile, promises to be spectacular. Inspired by the animated film La-Haut, the restaurant is set atop a glass and mirror structure, combining gastronomy and entertainment. At the heart of the place, a lacquered piano sits at the center of the bar, promising lively musical evenings.
